Accreditation

The Engineering Physics BS degree is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET www.abet.org. Degree programs that receive accreditation have undergone an exhaustive peer review of their program to assure they meet and exceed certain standards.

Accreditation serves many purposes including:

  • Assuring students and parents of the degree program's quality
  • Enabling employers to recruit graduates who are well-prepared
  • Giving university faculty a means to evaluate the quality of their program and wherever possible institute improvements
  • Assuring taxpayers, donors and other stakeholders that their funds are well utilized.
